The Power Of Place
When my husband, Han, and I started “dating,” (we were introduced online and lived in two different countries at the time), we spent one night chatting and exchanging links about Wilmington and Mojacar, Spain. We affectionately call it “Map Night,” though it was more an all-inclusive swapping of pictures and information about where we were living. At the time we didn’t really know what was in store for us, but what an adventure it has been! Now, seven years later, we’re happily living the dream in the Port City!
Since they are constantly updated, maps and atlases are prime candidates for upcycling, recycling and DIY projecting. I’d dearly love to have a vintage, pull-down map, especially if it has the U.S.S.R. on it…ahh the good old days when geography was much easier for me.
And this just made me laugh! So true…oh so true!
