A downpour in the middle of a back yard wedding ceremony? In the summer? In North Carolina? You betcha! And it was a BIG one…check out the satellite shot on the phone! Not that it was a problem for Angie and Selassie or their guests…they just moved into the living room and finished up the ceremony.
What a sweet, adorable couple! The look on Selassie’s face when Angie is walking towards him makes us melt and the darling poem that was read during the ceremony…all together now, AWWWW! We lurve the quotes from Peanuts on the tables and the salvaged doors used for photo display at the reception. Traci Arney and Marrissa Kaplan for Abigail Seymour Photography captured all the details of the day and had a blast with the guests in the Limelight (Abigail’s version of a photobooth).
A little rain clearly couldn’t dampen the spirit of this day! And like the chalkboard says, it’s a day they’ll always remember.
