Truly Red Carpet Worthy

We here at Wilmington Weddings like to leave you with something fabulous on Fridays and today’s post totally fills the bill.

We have found a jewel here in Wilmington…tucked away in the Home Again store near Wrightsville Beach and it’s called Lumina Gem.  Owner and gemologist, Brad Bass, and his creative team can do it all.  They have gorgeous loose diamonds for the couple who are anxious to create their own personal touch for their engagement ring, as well as several styles of vintage and estate rings.

Sapphires with diamonds…rubies with diamonds…diamonds, diamonds, diamonds abound.

Wilmington photographer Susie Linquist of Susie Linquist Photography is responsible for capturing these incredibly beautiful images during our visit with Brad and his team — it was a bling fest!

If you’re looking for that hard to find something blue, they offer several options…precious moonstone and blue chalcedony drop earrings, blue topaz studs and our favorite, a showstopper necklace of 24 carat gold and moonstone.

They also have some of the best costume / estate jewelry baubles that we’ve found.  We had a bit of an Anthropologie moment when we spied these fantastic earrings in their case.

The best thing about Lumina Gem is their prices…we guess the best way to put it is stunningly affordable.  We were astounded at how affordable!  This truly is a hidden gem in Wilmington offering  high quality along with affordability.
